| Both ALDS series will go the full 5 games after the Tigers tied up their series with a 5-0 shutout of the Rangers. Jeremy Bonderman went 7 innings for the win, allowing just 3 hits while walking none and striking out 9. Fernando Rodney pitched in with 2 innings of hitless relief to finish off the shutout. All 4 games in this series have been won by the road team. The Rangers will try to continue that trend in game 5 in Detroit with game 1 winner Vicente Padilla on the hill.
