August 23, 2006: Nationals 6 Marlins 2

Brandon Harper blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Washington Nationals
beat the Florida Marlins by a score of 6 to 2.

Harper was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day
at their team's expense. He smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 3rd
inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 2nd of the season) in
the 5th inning, lined a one-base hit in the 6th inning and lined a base-hit
in the 9th inning. Washington had 10 hits for the game and Florida had 6.

The winning pitcher was Tony Armas Jr(7-5) who allowed 1 run in 7 innings.
Scott Olsen(15-4) was given the loss. He pitched 5 and 1/3 innings allowing
6 hits and 3 walks.
