June 23, 2006: Red Sox 14 Phillies 8

This one looked like it was going to be back to (shitty) form for Josh Beckett when he gave up 4 runs in the first, but the Red Sox had tied it by the end of the 2nd and went on to score in 6 different innings en route to the 14-8 victory. Beckett ends up allowing 7 runs through 5, but it's good enough for the win.

Most of the Sox batters got in on the fun. Other than Coco Crisp and Alex Gonzalez, who had 0-fer days, all the rest of the hitters had multi-hit days with 4 different 3-hit days. Manny went 2 for 4 with a home run and 4 RBI, his 2nd straight 4 RBI game.

Manny Ramirez jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI as the Boston Red
Sox defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 14 to 8 at Fenway
Park.

Boston took the lead for keeps in the 4th inning as they scored 4 runs on 5

crowd when he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Boston dominated
offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

The win went to Josh Beckett(7-7) who allowed 7 runs in 5 innings. Ryan
Madson(4-5) took the loss. He was unable to control the Boston offense and
