Here's something you'll appreciate!

While I was playing the Nationals-Red Sox series, the Phillies were hosting the Yankees. The Phillies won all 3 games in their last at bat!

June 19th: the Phillies went into the bottom of the 9th down 3-2. The Yankees go to Mariano Rivera out of the bullpen. Here's what transpired...
*** BOTTOM OF INNING 9 ***
SUBSTITUTE P - Mariano Rivera
0 A.Rowand Fly Out b-0
1 D.Bell 1 Base Error - 3B b-1

SUBSTITUTE PR- Chris Roberson

1 1 C.Coste Single 1-3 b-1
SUBSTITUTE PH- David Dellucci

1 1 3 D.Dellucci Single 3-H 1-3 b-2

1 23 J.Rollins Single 3-H 2-3 b-1

Notice that the Yankee error was committed by A-Rod!

June 20th: In this one, the Phillies and Yankees were tied at 9 after 9 innings. Scott Mathieson set down the Yankees in order in the top of the 10th, and this was the bottom of the 10th, with Scott Proctor pitching for the Yanks...
*** BOTTOM OF INNING 10 ***
0 J.Rollins HBP b-1

0 1 C.Utley Single & Error - 1B 1-3 b-2
0 23 C.Roberson Fielders Choice 3-H 2-3 b-1

June 21st: This one was sort of a pitchers duel, although Yankees starter Jaret Wright only pitched 5 1/3 and Phils starter Cole Hamel only went 6 2/3. Both teams scored a single run in the 6th, and that's where it stood going into the bottom of the 9th...
*** BOTTOM OF INNING 9 ***
0 C.Coste Ground Out b-0

SUBSTITUTE PH- Shane Victorino

1 S.Victorino Strike Out b-0
2 J.Rollins Single b-1
2 1 C.Utley Home Run 1-H b-H

Wins like this help explain why the Phillies (49-23) have the best record in the NL and hold a 4 1/2 game lead over the Mets. Sweeping the Yankees also helped keep the Red Sox close while they were losing 2 of 3, the Yankees currently hold a 4 game lead.

(In case you're wondering how I posted pieces of the Play Account, you can copy and paste pieces of anything in a box score, play account, daily recap, etc. I then pasted them to a blog post through the blogger.com website. It wasn't easy, but it's do-able.)
