June 20, 2006: Nationals 3 Red Sox 1
Thursday, May 31, 2007
| I don't know what's more surprising: the fact that the Nats and Sox played another low scoring, pitcher's duel type game, or the fact that the Nats came out on top again! Livan Hernandez of all people leads the Nationals to victory in a 3-1 win over the Red Sox. Hernandez is helped out by homers by Alfonso Soriano and Ryan Zimmerman. Hernandez did get into trouble in the 7th when he allowed 4 straight base runners after getting the first our, but Saul Rivera and Chad Cordero combine on the hitless relief to preserve the win. |
