June 16, 2006: Braves 12 Red Sox 4
Sunday, May 27, 2007
| The Red Sox resume interleague play in Atlanta, where Jon Lester looks even worse in his 2nd start than he did in his 1st start. Lester gets pulled in the 3rd and ends up allowing 7 hits and 7 runs. Julian Tavarez contributes 3 2/3 innings, but allows 3 more runs to allow the Braves to get into double digits. Ortiz and Manny both went deep in the wasted effort, and the game marks the return of Gabe Kapler in a Red Sox uniform. |
