| The Red Sox pull to .500 behind another gem of a game from Tim Wakefield. This time Wake goes the whole nine for the 2 hit shutout, and has now allowed just 4 hits in 17 IP on the season. Offensively the Sox got some key hits from part timers JT Snow and Josh Bard, as well as another Papi homer. |

David Ortiz blasted a homerun and Tim Wakefield blanked Baltimore allowing
just 2 hits at Camden Yards where the Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore
