| It's not a good start for the 2006 Red Sox, as they lose to the Rangers 5-2 even though they outhit them, 12-9. The Red Sox big hitters did open in midseason form, however, as both Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz homered in the game. The new members of the team all got a hit, although Mark Loretta and Mike Lowell share some of the blame for the loss by grounding into 3 double plays between them. |
