April 15, 2006: Red Sox 5 Mariners 1

Tim Wakefield has another fantastic outing to push his record to 3-0 as the Sox easily beat the Mariners by a score of 5-1. Wake does allow his first run of the season in the 6th after Raul Ibanez hits a 1 out triple and is knocked in on an Adrian Beltre double. Wakefield started the season with 22 2/3 shoutout innings.

The Sox get 3 in the first off Mariners starter Joel Pineiro and coast from there, adding single runs in the 2nd and 3rd. 6 doubles help the Red Sox winning effort in this one.
